2025 Design Portfolio
My name is Kevin Valido. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania (B.A. Neuroscience; Minor: Architecture), I began a Master of Architecture at Columbia University to further explore the connection between human cognition and design. My work is driven by a profound interest in behavior and the built environment, exploring how evidence-based principles can reimagine notions of conventional design.
I believe architecture and the sciences are symbiotic: with evidence-based design, seemingly subjective feelings in space can be quantified. Here lies my ultimate goal in the field, to design with a focus on human feeling, interactions, and movement.
My portfolio reflects a commitment to the users of a space: integrating aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
